ProStart I/II students gladly accept this commercial freezer that was purchased by funds donated by Shawn and Jill Purvis in honor of their mother, Ruth Larmon, a long time Family and Consumer Science (FCS) teacher in Hollister, MO. The Purvis family have been longtime Warrensburg residents, and their children graduates of WHS.
Their generous donation helped the FCS Department purchase the appliance which has been a need due to the growth and course expansion of the department.

Ms. Snell's Child Development 1 class partnered with Mrs. Hull & Mrs. Palmer, Maple Grove ECSE teachers, to teach preschool aged students. WHS students wrote lesson plans based on the Holidays Around the World unit the class was working through and helped teach the preschoolers. Students were able to work together to complete passports, suitcases, ornaments & stockings.
