FCCLA members attended Missouri FCCLA's Industry Immersion event at New Theatre & Restaurant to explore a variety of careers related to Family & Consumer Sciences. After enjoying the buffet and play, Hallelujah Girls, students heard from actual cast members and theatre employees. This immersive experience provided students with valuable insights to career opportunities and skills related to theatre, costuming, set design, audio design, hospitality, studio management, and culinary arts.

The WHS Spanish Club was excited to welcome our international exchange students at a special welcome party! Students, host families, club parents/students, and other community organizations came together to make our international students feel at home and celebrate the diversity that makes our community so special.
This year, we are happy to welcome six students from around the world:

The students and their host families enjoyed the presentations, international food, shared a wonderful time together, and celebrated the connections that bring us closer across cultures.

WHS FCCLA attended the Region 12 Fall Leadership Conference at UCM Wednesday Oct. 14th. Members heard from Mr. Jim Kalberloh, former State Representative, about leadership, perseverance, and the impact of challenging yourself. Members participated in workshops to learn about becoming an officer, competitive events, and growing their own leadership skills. WHS members were voted Most Spirited for the second year!
