Congratulations to the Softball team! Their float won 1st place in the Community Service division at the Homecoming Parade last Saturday.
Attention Juniors and Seniors: WHS will be hosting an opportunity for you to hear from college professors about various college majors offered at many universities. Our first ‘Monthly Majors’ event will be Tuesday, Oct 31st during academy in the Library. The focus for this month’s presentation will be on the field of Occupational Risk and Safety Management. If you would like to attend please sign up in the Counseling Office by Monday, Oct 30th at 9 am.
The Environmental Club will meet on Wednesday, October 25th during Academy in room 127. We hope to see you there!
The annual U.S. Naval Academy Admissions Forum will be held Sunday, November 19th at 1:00 p.m. at the National World War I Museum.

The ASVAB will be given to juniors and seniors on Tuesday, Oct. 24 beginning 1st block in the library.

Road Closure
South Ridgeview Drive south of the high school will be closed for chip and seal this afternoon. The road will close after school dismissal today to put down oil. The road will be closed Thursday to put down the asphalt. The road should be open Thursday afternoon/evening.

FBLA will be having a meeting this Thursday during Academy in Mrs. O's Room. We will be discussing our fundraiser for the year, so please plan on attending.
Mrs. Kearfott's General Foods class is collecting supplies for the Old Drum Animal Shelter. Starting Monday the 16th and going until Thursday the 26th, the class will be collecting new chew-safe pet toys, new collars and leashes, and unopened pet treats. Donation boxes can be found in the commons, the LMC, the main entrance, outside Rm 110 and in the Ag building.

On September 30, 2023, Warrensburg High School participated in the Diversity and Equity in Education Committee's Community Connections Fair at the Middle School track. Many talented students from WHS, including members of the National Honor Society, WHS Dance Team, Robotics Team, and WHS Drama and Theatre, came to represent our school. In addition, our Security Resource Officers, Layne Fischer and Emma Miller, were there to contribute as well. It was a lovely event.
