Robotics League Tournament Results We had a great League Tournament, and while we did not get a direct advancement to State, 2 of 3 teams earned the opportunity to compete for a State advancement in the Super Qualifier on February 15th. The Small Fries, composed of Mariah Penniman, Scott Swainston, Grant Fitterer and Audrey Mechenbier, and Team Serenity, composed of George Dietz and Mack Young will be competing against 34 other teams for 1 of 6 advancements to State. That is an opportunity12 of 22 teams did not have from our League Tournament. Our third team, Team Rocinante, composed of Abby Morsbach, Samantha Altman, and Noah Morsbach left it all on the field with several victories, but are done for this competition. Please congratulate these competitors!

The French and Spanish clubs welcomed two new exchange students Justo from Argentina and Noah from Germany. The students enjoyed some conchas (typical Mexican pastry) and French galette des rois (kings cake) made by Madame Cicon. Justo and Noah had the opportunity to meet with our seven current exchange students and had fun and interesting conversations with our club members about the different ways of life in each country and the USA.

As we wrap up this extended holiday break, you might enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while thinking about how these kids will never return to school. Rest assured, they will, and then before you know it, BAM the end of the year will be here and so will the Project Grad event. With that here's your shameless plug for donation needs! The fundraising committee is still seeking large-ticket items for the auction but needs other things too! Unused and unwanted gift cards? They can use those! A knack for baking? They would LOVE to use your sweet treats in the Dessert Dash. The Project Grad Silent Auction will be on Feb. 12 at Milestones Barn. Use this form to sign up or to notify the committee of your desired donations. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0C45A4AB23A5FB6-54197228-2025
