Missouri Connections (www.missouriconnections.org)
works with CIS - Computer Information System out of the University of
Oregon to provide WHS students with a website that allows students to
create their own account and therein:
Assess their
- career interest areas - and explore careers in those areas ...
- preceived work skills
- work importance locator/values
- need for further assessments
And look for post high school training, be that junior colleges, tech schools, universities, trade schools, etc.
To access the student personal account on this website, go to:

Connections is case sensitive and if the password has letters, they
must be capitalized. To find out your password log in to your
PowerSchool account and find the link called "Other Info". If you still
can't find it please email your counselor for that information.
Another user friendly resource for researching college and career options can be found at: www.howtobecome.com.
This site includes tips and guides on how to prepare for many careers.
Also included is a helpful "expert advice" section of interviews with
professionals who are successful in their fields.
